About 6 years ago I was temporarily living and working in Alabama and had a roommate that made jewelry, I would buy stones and have her make me something. Finally she suggested I do it myself.
I am retired now and get a lot of joy out of creating the one of a kind pieces of jewelry that you find on this site and at the shows that I attend.
My roommate taught me the basics and I have never looked back. I've gone to many classes to learn new techniques. I have learned Kumihimo and working with a loom. I'm still learning new techniques every day.
I'm married and live with my husband Jim in Savannah, Ga.
